Phyllis Lake

Phyllis Lake is located 17 kilometres West of Caroline and is visited by plenty of anglers year round because of the Rainbow Trout fishing. It is stocked annually, and has received brood stock for well over a decade, making it a hot destination for anglers looking to catch a big Rainbow in the low teens. Fishing is fair and you might even hook into a Perch, but the lake is generally busy and due to it's small size and limited shore access can become crowded in a hurry.
Phyllis Lake has a small campground, but the un-paved road into the lake/campground area is relatively steep, and should be considered a risk when the ground is frozen or muddy and slippery. There is a boat launch, however, gas powered motors are not allowed to be used, but electric motors are permitted and will suffice for the size of this lake. Phyllis Lake is probably most enjoyed during the week when it isn't so crowded, but it is a fun lake with great potential for catching big fish.
