EMERGENCY STREAM CLOSURES
Due to high water temperatures and low water levels, there is less oxygen in the water which is causing excessive stress on our fish in Alberta. Catching and releasing fish will cause additional stress and could lead to a higher risk of fish mortality, which is why there are stream closures. Please be sure to double check the rules before you go. If you're uncertain you can always call your wildlife division district office or visit http://mywildalberta.com/Fishing/Closures.aspx.
