AlbertaFishingGuide.com Site Launch

Today is the launch of our website, and the beginning of what might become one of the most valuable tools to fisherman across Alberta. We have developed a site that allows Alberta anglers to find exactly what kind of fishing experience they are looking for, with all the information they need to know before they head out. We provide valuable information specific to each location, such as, rules and regulations, zone information, what species of fish can are lurking around, stock reports of the last 5 years, a location map, and a five day weather report. All this information can be found by using our search feature, which hosts three key custom searches:

1. Find a fishing hole

You can plan your next fishing trip by selecting what is important to you:

  • Which zone of Alberta do you want to fish in?
  • What type of fish do you want to catch?
  • Do you fish with bait?
  • Are you looking for still water or moving water?
  • Do you prefer locations that are stocked?
  • Is ice fishing on your agenda?

Whatever it is you prefer, you can narrow down your perfect fishing hole with our search feature.

2. Find a tackle shop

You can find the nearest tackle shop to you or your next fishing adventure, by choosing a city/town, if your looking for bait, or need a shop that provides fly fishing gear.

3. Find a lodge/guide

Maybe you are looking for a new fishing experience and want to turn to some pro's, or stay at a remote lodge, whatever the case we can help you connect with the right professional based on your expectations.
